      My favourite Actress is Pooja Gauthami Umashankar.She was born on 25th of June 1981.
Pooja was born in Colombo.She is forty two years old.She is an Actress in Kollywood and the sinhala film industry.She has a Masters Degree in Business and Management.

     


Pooja's mother is a Sri Lankan Sinhalese and her father is a Kannadiga.The languages she can speak are Sinhalese,Tamil,Kannada and English.
She  went to school and college in Bangalore,
Baldwin's and Mount carmel college respectively.She got converted to Christianity.
She married Prashan Devid Vethakan who is a Sri Lankan businessman. 

    


Pooja is so pretty.She is fair in complexion.She is 
tall and medium built.She has a long,black,weavy
hair.She is so funny.She is kind and honest.She is 
very sensitive.She always wear frocks,sarees,
lehenga and salwars.Pooja likes to help poor people.She makes jokes for other happiness.She 
can dances very well and likes to present programs.

      


Pooja acted in many movies.Such as Jay Jay,
Attahasam,Jithan,Anjalika,Asai Man Piyabanna,
Yahaluwo,Suwanda Danuna Jeewithe ,Kusa Paba,
Paththini,Sarigama,Orange and Drohi.Her first Sri Lankan film is Anjalika was directed by Channa Perera.Also she has participated in  dramas and programs in Sri Lanka.They are Daskon and Derana City Of Dance.She was one of the judges on the popular dance reality show Aatam Paatam Rondatam.She won the best Actress award in Sarasaviya film and returned to
the podium of the Deran film festival to accept the honours in the most popular Actress Category.She has won many awards for her films 
performances.🏆️🎊️🎉️

Religious festival in the Sri Lanka

 Kataragama Perahera🙏🌼 All religions join in the kataragama Perahera festival. It was held on 29th of July 2022.
