My favourite film in Sri Lanka

Kusa Paba is a 2012 Sri Lankan sinhala historical drama film,directed by Sunil Ariyarathne.This film was coproduced by renowned film directors  and producers of the Sri Lanka Arts Society,
Which includes H.D.Premasiri,Udayakantha Warnakulasooriya, Sunil T Fernando,Tissa Nagodavithana,Ariyadasa Peiris,Janitha Marasinghe,Renuka Balasooriya,Dhammika Siriwardana and Somaratne Dissanayake.😍🥰
     
  


     The film stars Pooja Umashankar and Jakson Anthony in lead roles also with Ravindra Randeniya and Veena Jayakody.Music composed by Rohana Weerasinghe.Many beautiful songs are included this film.Such as jala dharawe,
madura wasanthe,madu chandra yame,prema mandire etc.Kusa Paba is the 1170th Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema.




The film based on the 550 Jathaka tales.King Okkaka is the emperor of India.He rules from kusawathie city,with his queen Seelawathie and two sons,Kusa and Jayampathi.Kusa is strong and
Competent in all crafts including warfare,but he has an ugly,oli cake shaped face.Since he realizes that no women is likely to marry him.he is not interested in marriage.Nonetheless his mother urge him to marry.Kusa makes a golden sculpture in a women's  shape and tells his mother that he will marry if she can find a woman who looks like the sculpture.The queen orders two royal servants to take the statue to all other countries and find a woman who looks like the statue.

There was a big fight with the princes of seven states to get her.King kusa fought them and saved Pabavathi.Then his doughy face disappeared .Pabavathi wanted to marry him.
The film grossed a high profit for the year and was a major hit among Sri Lanka.I like this film very much because it is very romantic film.❤️❤️

Religious festival in the Sri Lanka

 Kataragama Perahera🙏🌼 All religions join in the kataragama Perahera festival. It was held on 29th of July 2022.                    🎶🎵Baila music❤️💃😍 Baila is a popular Sri Lankan music and dance genre.The genre orginated centuries ago among  the Portuguese Burghers and Sri Lankan Kaffirs.
