One of the waterfall in Sri Lanka

                      Dunhinda Falls


Dunhinda falls situated about 5 km from Badulla,
the capital of Uva province.It is a very popular 
waterfall in Sri Lanka.It has a height of 64 meters.There for it is not leading from its height but it is remarkable waterfall when considering the beauty of it.The name Dunhinda derived from the misty appearance in front of the waterfalls during the rainy season🌧️💧.This waterfall called as Badulla  Oya.

  


To reach this waterfall it is required to travel in Badulla - Mahiyangana road main road.People have to walk about 1km to reach the waterfall.
It is possible to park the vehicles near the mainroad.There are some sellers all along the foot path who sells herbal drinks and grains.

    Please be careful from monkey in the area and always avoid walking with food items in your hands exposing to them.Before reaching to the main waterfall you can see another waterfall which is known as "Punchi Dunhinda ".Anyway it is difficult to walk near that waterfall because you have to go through the forest in mountains.
Many tourists are visiting there and take lots of photographs.l like Dunhinda very much because 
I visited there in my childhood.🥰🙃

Religious festival in the Sri Lanka

 Kataragama Perahera🙏🌼 All religions join in the kataragama Perahera festival. It was held on 29th of July 2022.
